MENOPAUSE CLINIC

Perimenopause and menopause can be a difficult time in the lives of many women. It often comes at a time in life when caring and work commitments are usually at their peak. It can present with varying symptoms which are very mild for some women but can be quite debilitating for others.

Women so often just “put up” with these symptoms and soldier on. Our Menopause Clinic offers a space where women can come to talk about these symptoms in a sympathetic environment and discuss evidence based treatment options tailored to their individual needs with a specalised GP.

This is an ideal time in life to identify and address risk factors for diseases such as osteoporosis and cardiovascular disease, that may affect a woman’s future health. With the aim being to keep women active and healthy for as long as possible with the best quality of life possible.
